I'm thrilled to keep writing my monthly column for the Swedish Chapter of Women in Film and Television, focusing on Swedish films and happenings in New York, but also reporting from the New York Chapter of Women in Film and Television as well as festival screenings and seminars.
The summer column covered Rooftop Films' 3 Day Spotlight on Swedish films, screenings invited to by NYWIFT such as "Lucky Stiff", "Fort Tilden" and "Mistress America" and Hamptons Summer Docs Program final film "Peace Officer" with a Q&A moderated by Alec Baldwin.
A fun Q&A with "Lucky Stiff"s Pamela Shaw playing Rita, moderated by former cast member Barbara Rosenblat from the stage version of the film.
Rooftop Films showing Swedish "Bikes vs. Cars" by Fredrik Gertten in Brooklyn (director on bike).
Alec Baldwin moderating the Q&A following Hamptons Summer Doc screening of "Peace Officer" by Brad Barber and Scott Christopherson, with main subject Dub Lawrence.
